PIRB, next stop

ON•TAP Vereeniging will host the next PIRB meeting on the 2nd of September 2009, so if you're a plumber from that area - consider yourself invited!

The Plumbing Industry Registration Board (PIRB) provides a comprehensive registration system for plumbers. The PIRB monitors the performance of all their plumbers to ensure plumbing practices that protects the health and safety of the community.

These PIRB events are necessary, because sooner or later all plumbers will have to register in order to purchase certificates.

These certificates will be available soon at ON•TAP stores, nationwide.

Platinum IOPSA Member

The ON•TAP Group has recently received Platinum Membership from the Institute Of Plumbing South Africa. This means that IOPSA will now include us on their website along with any advertising they do. ON•TAP is the first franchise group to become Platinum IOPSA members - and that is something that we are really proud of.

It's a great honour to help contribute in the upliftment of plumbing standards in our country, through the good work of IOPSA.

ON•TAP Bloemfontein's owner, Tiaan Deysel, recently became the proud father of a beautiful baby girl. Congratulations.

Now that's good service

ON•TAP Pietermaritzburg is the pioneering ON•TAP franchise that was established in 1990. Since then, ON•TAP Pietermaritzburg has prided itself on excellent service delivery.

A satisfied customer recently e-mailed us, stating that they were very impressed with the excellent service they received from ON•TAP Pietermartizburg. They visited their nearest ON•TAP to ask for advice, as they are currently building a new house - they knew what they wanted, but not exactly. The customer was assisted by a very helpful ON•TAP sales assistant, Matt Howes. He browsed through the ON•TAP showroom with the customer until ideas sparked and decisions were made.

The customer said that Matt was very patient and even in the midst of a thousand questions being asked, he still took time to find the best solution for the customer's needs and answered each question with a smile. The customer is grateful for the excellent service, which made the rather menacing task of picking new baths, basins and mixers for a new house, a total breeze.

PIRB Roadshow travels North

The PIRB Roadshow made their next stop on the 22nd of July 2009 at ON•TAP Edenvale. Here, they hosted an IOPSA meeting to introduce the new PIRB Registration Certificates to plumbers in the area.

Forty plumbers attended this launch, where the importance and objectives of being a registered PIRB member were explained. The topic of issuing Compliance Certificates, was also addressed.
