ON•TAP increases national footprint

ON•TAP Plumbing Supplies began trading in 1990 and has grown to a national enterprise in the past 17 years. This year celebrates the opening of their 35th franchise store, ON•TAP Edenvale.

A small town amidst the hustle and bustle of Gauteng, Edenvale is a suburb situated in the East Rand area close to the OR Tambo International Airport. ON•TAP Edenvale is the newest addition to the ON•TAP family, comprising of three partners, brought together by Mr P Jefferson who brought about the first ON•TAP store in Cape Town.


Tjaart Venter from Kempton Park, has established and owned various businesses in the building industry since 1982. Tjaart came into contact with ON•TAP during a construction project in Paarl, where he purchased the majority of his plumbing supplies from Eugene, ON•TAP Paarl.

Craig Mason from Benoni, onwed a courier business before serving as a DIY manager for Hansgrohe, a leading supplier of bathroom and kitchen fittings. Craig was investigating the possibility of purchasing a franchise.

Reighardt Kapp is a qualified attorney from Port Elizabeth and recently joined Tjaart's property development empire in Gauteng.

Edenvale's relaxing small town atmosphere will make you forget how close you are to the city. It's a comfortably situated residential area, close enough for a drive to Johannesburg or other places of interest. Gloomy's Farm, sidewalk cafés and shopping malls such as Eastgate and the East Rand Shopping Mall are among the entertaining areas that surround Edenvale. The town boasts with a beautiful and undulating Linksfield Golf Club as well as many other sporting and recreational facilities.
