More big steps for ON TAP Midrand

At ON TAP we're constantly innovating. After new products come new showrooms, and after new showrooms it's new owners for those new show rooms and their new products. Well, as you know ON TAP Midrand recently moved to a brand new showroom. That very showroom is now under the new and brilliant management of owner Nigel Small.

Nigel recently moved to Midrand with his wife Anna, brimming with ideas and in search of a new challenge. This happily married couple have a son, Shane, as well as a daughter, Janine who is married to Steve Fouche of ON TAP Craighall and Northriding - a sign perhaps? Sign or no sign, it is a great honour and privilege to welcome Nigel and his family to ON TAP and its family.
And yet the manager and location isn't all that's new at the Midrand store. This brand new showroom will be undergoing a complete makeover and facelift, to fit in with ON TAP's new look and feel. Designed by Kelly Luff from Designer Spaces, you're in for quite a surprise next time you visit ON TAP Midrand.

ON TAP moves house

Fear not, people of Midrand! The tightly closed doors of ON TAP doesn't mean that your bathroom and plumbing experts have abandoned you. On the contrary! ON TAP Midrand has packed up all the quality supplies and moved to a brand new location, which better matches the sparkle of the taps and shower heads.
You can now find ON TAP at 317 16th Road, Halfway House, Midrand. With more space to unpack and display, you can be sure that the already extensive collection of bathroom and plumbing supplies, will only get bigger.

ON•TAP Centurion Officially Open

Although ON•TAP Centurion opened its doors during August 2010, the new store was officially inaugurated on the 16th of September 2010. The event took place in ON•TAP Centurion's state-of-the-art showroom, where industry guests were invited to join in the celebration!

ON•TAP Pretoria has recently moved to a new store. Dino Procos and his team started trading as an ON•TAP franchise in 2003 and has since then displayed exceptional service and quality products. The new ON•TAP Pretoria store can be found at the Silver Well Retail and Office Park in Pretoria.

ON•TAP Malmesbury's new showroom

Malmesbury is a hot spot for area development. ON•TAP saw potential in this fast growing area due to its central location and ON•TAP's already existing brand awareness. In June 2008, ON•TAP Malmesbury was founded by Angus, Eugene and Heine.

It's the first joint venture between two franchise areas, namely West Coast and Paarl. The aim of ON•TAP Malmesbury is to provide in the Malmesbury-area's pluming needs.

Due to the franchisees' previous involvement in retailing paint they have also been looking for the appropriate shop as long as 8 years ago. During the years they have built up a good understanding of the area and identified a parking problem in Malmesbury CBD that was addressed.

Build-It was launched two years ago. The franchise owners saw the opportunity to utilize Build It as their anchor tenant. Angus purchased the neighbouring stand to develop the 800m² premises comprising of 280m² Plumbing hardware , 300m² showroom and 300m² paintshop.
During this time the franchisees consulted with Peter. He gave them his valued opinion, which had a great impact on their final decision.

The advantage that ON•TAP Malmesbury had was to design and plan a building that suited their requirements: planning and decorating the showroom to all the latest trends. All of ON•TAP Malmesbury's suppliers played a critical role in the “dressing” of the showroom which enjoyed a collaboration with colours and textures from the paint suppliers as well.

ON•TAP Paarl has a new Showroom

ON•TAP Paarl has recently revamped their showroom as means to celebrate their sixth birthday on 1 May 2009. The new state-of-the-art ON•TAP Paarl showroom is one worth a visit. The bright colours of the display are eye-catching and its minimalist touch echoes a modern feel that complements the atmosphere of ON•TAP Paarl.

A moving story about a moving brand

ON•TAP Alberton is moving. This is very exciting times, as ON•TAP Alberton is planning to expand their showroom for a greater product display. The new residence will provide this necessary space that ON•TAP needs to expand.

ON•TAP Alberton will be moving from the Rochlin Center to the Alberton Value Center between the 24th and 27th of April 2009. To celebrate, ON•TAP Alberton is having a clearance sale on old stock.

The brand new ON•TAP Alberton will sport the latest Hansgrohe Cosmo E2 range, which is exclusive to all the ON•TAP stores nationwide!

ON•TAP Jeffrey's Bay - it's number 37!

ON•TAP adds store number 37 to their national footprint. This time, in the renowned surfer's town of Jeffrey's Bay. It's not just all sun and surf, the staff here, at ON•TAP Jeffrey's Bay, are dedicated to deliver fast, friendly and efficient service to their customers. The staff is led by owner/manager, Louis Naude, who is passionate about the industry and serving it with a smile.

The store originally opened in 1996, with Stephan and Diane Fourie as the owners. Their aim was to serve the area of Jeffrey's Bay in the plumbing and sanitary ware business. In 1998, Koos du Plessis joined the company and became known as "the friendly neighbourhood plumbing advisor" - oom Duppie.

Louis Naude, a frequent visitor of the store during annual holidays, took over the company in 2004. He was interested in buying a successful business in the area, one which had lots of potential. He decided to buy into the ON•TAP Franchise, due to ON•TAP's track record of growth rate and new stores.

Oom Duppie is still there, and he is an asset to the business. Being part of it for over ten years, he is well known in the community and trusted for his knowledge and eagerness to assist.

Rosche Delport joined the thriving ON•TAP Jeffrey's Bay team in 2007. He has 13 years of experience in the industry - so together with oom Duppie - this is a team unlike any other!

ON•TAP Jeffrey's Bay has always been a company for service delivery. They aim to give the best advice on any plumbing issue and can give well informed suggestions due to a superior knowledge of products in the industry. ON•TAP Jeffrey's Bay is based on integrity, and prides itself in sourcing any item which a client may require. The store aims to be the best plumbing supplier in the Kouga Region.

ON•TAP Jeffrey's Bay is frequented by registered plumbers in the area, but has also delivered expertise and products to the surrounding areas and places as far as Botswana, Gordon's Bay, Bloemfontein, Johannesburg and Port Elizabeth. The most cherished customers are the community's elderly.

The ON•TAP Jeffrey's Bay team consists of owners, Louis and Esther Naude, manager - Koos du Plessis (oom Duppie), Rosche Delport, Jasper Hills, Allan Prinsloo and Dries du Preez.

ON•TAP Plumbing Supplies began trading in 1990 and has grown to a national enterprise during the past 18 years, with franchises opening all over the country. The latest addition, their 36th store - ON•TAP Stellenbosch.

This satellite branch of ON•TAP Somerset West is owned by Tony van Strijp and Dan Forsyth, who is a qualified plumber by trade. So you can be assured to receive professional advice. The branch is managed by Duane Searie, who has been with the company since the early years, and his experience can be trusted.

As you enter ON•TAP Stellenbosch, one feels a readiness to be assisted by the team and a friendly atmosphere pervades in the air-conditioned, state of the art showroom.
